RocketsCodeAI was born from a concrete need in education. Private tutors and their students had no tool built for them: classes were arranged over chat, material was scattered across folders, and every tutor prepared exercises and tracked progress by hand, one student at a time.
Asdrúbal Lavín and Marioly Martínez, friends since 2011, set out to fix it. They built their own learning platform for private tutors and their students, with AI built in from the design stage: material and exercises aligned with Chile's national curriculum (Mineduc), adapted to the way each student learns best, and a clear view of progress so tutors spend their time teaching instead of managing. The platform is still in private use.
Building it taught them something they later saw in every industry: AI only adds real value when it is well integrated into a system that runs every day, with clean data, solid architecture and someone accountable after launch. So in January 2024, RocketsCodeAI became a custom software and applied AI company for other organizations.
Soon after, Ricardo González joined. He and Asdrúbal have been classmates and friends since secondary school in 2011. A computer engineer, Ricardo brought his experience as a data analyst and Site Reliability Engineer, and with him every system we deliver ships tested, measured and ready to run.
The name sums up how we work: a rocket only matters if it lifts off, and software that never reaches production does not exist. Today we are a core team of three backed by a network of trusted developers and specialists who join depending on what each project needs.
